Harry S Truman - America’s Thirty-Third President

One of the mottoes on President Harry S Truman's desk started with three words, "Always do right...". His INTEGRITY proved that he followed those words. Even with small matters, he behaved in the right way. When he wrote letters to his wife, the President always paid for his own stamps. Using the free government mail was not "right" because the letters were personal. He did the "right" thing even when no one was watching.

Truman was the first President to have his inauguration televised. He was the first President to give a speech on television.
Only 5 presidents of the United States have been left-handed: James Garfield, Harry S Truman, Gerald Ford, George Bush, and Bill Clinton.
The letter "S" comprises the full middle name of the 33rd president, Harry S Truman. It represents two of his grandfathers, whose names both had "S" in them.
