All you need to do is just that - read about the heroes and their incredible accomplishments.

When you read about them, you can start to think about situations in your own life when you may have faced similar challenges. When you begin to understand how our "Real American Heroes" overcame those challenges and to recognize how you might use the same methods for yourself - well then you are becoming part of The Heroes Club™!

We've decided to share some ideas to help you along the way. You'll notice that the heroes aren't just introduced as a story about a person and an accomplishment. We've helped you see how they achieved what they did by using one of their positive human qualities - called a virtue. You can see how heroes act.

Try it for yourself. With each hero and each virtue, we've asked you an important question. Think about each one and let you be the hero in your life. (We named these questions the Calls To Action.) We've made our trading cards available to you as recognition of your achievement in becoming a Heroes Club member and as a reminder of how you too can be a Real American Hero!

You may be able to participate with others as you learn, through your school or a group to which you belong. Perhaps you'll want to share this idea with others and start a club of your own! Don't stop now, explore!
